Japan-style

Friday, November 03, 2006

I've spent the past couple of weeks working on this image from my trip to Japan. I put most of these photographs on the blog inMay. I wanted to do something more with them. So I collaged the best photographs together, making a large poster print which I've framed and now adorns my bedroom wall. It measures 30 x 40cm, and is a riot of colour. I'm really quite pleased with it.

I'd like to sell this, and any other image I've done, as prints. So if you'd like to buy a print of this, just let me know by commenting or emailing or any-way-you-can and we'll organise something.

Really nice collection of photos / pics - very kitsch and colourful! Works well!

I'll second them.

I'm flirting with the idea of doing the JET Programme when I leave uni, which would see me working in a Japanese school for a year. I spent an old book token on a phrase book a month or so back, which has led to me saying "Cheezu Kayki!" at every opportunity. Guess what that means...

No idea what that means! I'm intrigued.

The friend who I was visiting in Japan was on the JET programme. She had a really good time, and I think would highly recommend.

I have another friend who is in Japan now, and loving it also. Don't think he's on the JET though, but is teaching in a school.

I'll add these comments to my "For the JET" list that's forming in one side of my head.

Cheezu Kayki = Cheese cake.

I'm spelling it phonetically by the way. My phrase book is under some clothes somewhere.

I'm sure you can guess Derikatessen.
